Description
Here is yet another beautiful scene along Washington Gulch Road west of the ski town of Crested Butte, Colorado. We took our young friend to go on a horseback ride outing and in the middle of this image you can just make out the trail where the ride began. This was the beginning of the spectacular wildflower season for which Crested Butte is famous near and far. I believe these are lupine along with dandelions. In the background you can see the tip of Mount Emmons, still covered in snow. The image is a photograph that has been turned into a lovely digital work of art.
