Description
Apparently it has been a while since I have been in lower downtown Denver, the area referred to by locals as "lodo". Union Station used to be the furthest west thing in lodo, with little of anything but a maze of train tracks beyond it followed by the Platte River, then Interstate 25.
Boy, was I surprised as I drove, and later walked through the area to find a whole new city full of condominium complexes, apartment buildings, skyscrapers, bridges, and a new grocery store! Clearly there is still an enormous amount of construction going on, as witnessed in this photograph.
Reflections Of Progress won first place in the FAA contest 'Building Site'. 3/4/2024
