Description
I met these beautiful macaws in the bird house at the Denver, Colorado Zoo. Colorful and fascinating creatures, macaws mate for life. There are 19 species of macaws, including extinct and critically endangered species. The red one on the right is a scarlet macaw and its mate is a blue and gold macaw.
