Description
Just one human figure stood out from the vastness of this huge lake - the silhouetted figure of a small boy playing in the wet sand at water's edge. The lake was Lake Balaton in western Hungary. I was there visiting my German friend who was leading a band camp nearby, and would later lead me to a week of sightseeing and relaxing in one of the grand spa hotels on Margit-sziget Island in the Danube River in Budapest.
Of all the sights I took in, nothing compared to the wonderful sense of wholeness I experienced gazing at the scene in this image.
