I recently went through six weeks of daily radiation treatments for throat cancer. It was, and remains grueling but, thank God, we caught it early and the prognosis is very good. The ladies dressing room for changing into the hospital gowns was filled with evidence of encouraging items made by the Lafayette, Colorado Crafters as gifts for the cancer patients such as knitted hats and knitted knockers.
One day as things were starting to get pretty rough a small gift accompanied my check-in paperwork. It was a little card with a Hershey's Miniature candy and this saying: "More Fun Days Ahead, Stay Strong". That was exactly the lift I needed that day. I decided it could be helpful for anyone struggling with illness, recovery, or addiction so I am sharing it here on this photograph I took of the Henry's Fork River near Ashton, Idaho. It will make a wonderful greeting card or poster for anyone you know who could use a little extra encouragement.

Thank you for visiting my galleries. I am an award-winning photographer and musician from metro Denver, Colorado. I have a deep love and appreciation for the great outdoors that is reflected in most of my photography. I am also enthralled with barns, vintage things, and anything else I find interesting or humorous. In addition to straight photography, I really enjoy playing in the digital realm to create beautiful photo paintings, also referred to as Paintography, or Digital Art. If you see anything in my gallery that interests you that you might prefer altered in any way - color, size, digital processing, or turned into a black and white, please don't hesitate to email me.
