We were disappointed on discovering that it was likely to rain all day on the day of our planned excursion to the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. It actually turned out that we got some fascinating shots that we couldn't have gotten on a sunny day. I believe the weather adds quite a bit of interest to the shots you are seeing in this series of photographs!
