My camera's GPS goofed on this photograph, so I'm not sure where in Alabama it is. We were on a three week road trip that brought us through 14 states. I know this beautiful red barn showed up on the AL leg of the trip, just don't quite remember where.
That said, doesn't the serenity of this landscape just make you want to slow down and think about the important things in life? What a lovely and relaxing drive it was! It was in the early days of spring where the grass was green and the wildflowers were coming to life. The trees were just beginning to trust that the frigid winter was over, but they were taking very small steps.
