Description
This photograph was taken on the property of an amazing private collection in south west North Carolina. Thanks to Debra & Dave Vanderlaan's friendship with the owner, our group was very fortunate to be able to see and photograph this wonderful collection that is not open to the public. The owners have created a small town complete with garages, a mill, a fire station, general store, pharmacy, this tool shed, and more - all stocked with antique cars, tools, and many other artifacts of Americana from the early 20th century.

What an amazing collection of rusty old "stuff," now considered historical treasures by those of us who "brake for rust." Your deft handling of this scene has produced another treasure. I was so happy to find it this morning in the Rusty Items in Photography group. Thanks, too, for the informative description. Following. A favorite.

Bet my Dad would have liked this place! Those tools would not be antiques to him. Nice shot, Lorrie!

Thank you Kathryn. If you can identify anything you can see here that I have not already tagged please let me know.
