On Thursday mornings I play with the women's 18 hole league on the Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville, Colorado. There are two side-by-side backyards that face hole 1 that display such an amazing variety of gorgeous flowers that I find myself having to "stop and smell the roses" every time I pass by. These white peonies were simply luscious!
2022 Update to this story: This house, along with every house on the block perished in the Dec. 30, 2021 Marshall fire.
