Description
I pulled this image out of my photo archives from a few years back and re edited it to create this painterly look. I took it somewhere in Boulder, Colorado but I don't remember where. The pink flower is called Red Valerian but is also known as Devil's Beard, Fox's Brush, Jupiter's Beard, Kiss-Me-Quick. It is indigenous to the Mediterranean region but here it is flourishing in Boulder. Its proper name is Centranthus Ruber, but I call it lovely!
