Description
One of many splendiferous scenes in Sedona, Arizona, this landscape photograph was taken along Chapel Road, which leads up to the Catholic Chapel Of The Holy Cross. It was January, and you can see a dusting of snow on the distant hill from the night before. Further down the road through Oak Creek Canyon there was considerably more snow on the ground. The prickly pear cactus in the foreground sets off the magnificent red rock formations in the back, the towering spires pointing heavenward.
