My niece took me for a lovely hike in Tryon Creek State Park while I was visiting her and my sister in Portland, Oregon.There were many spectacular tree stumps and fallen trees, all covered in moss and surrounded by rich foliage like ferns, philodendron, and other woodsy vegetation.
