Description
I learned of this Memorial Day car show through a Denver, Colorado Meet-Up. It is a twice per year event promoted by Street Rodders For Life that raises funds for various causes. I went, not knowing quite what to expect, but was blown away at what I discovered. There were 4+ parking lots filled with hundreds of vintage and antique cars - many from the 1950s and earlier.
This rusty vintage Volkswagon bus certainly brings back some memories of the 1960s, like traveling through Europe with an all-girl band, and almost rolling off the edge of a cliff in the Alps when the thing pooped out with us and all our equipment and luggage. Fun times!
I've Been From Tucson To Tucumcari tied for second place in the FAA contest: "RUSTY JEWELS-VEHICLES ONLY GROUP LOGO FOR MARCH" - 2/29/2020
