As it was raining most all day, we explored other areas and only arrived at Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota for the last few moments before dark. I walked out on the pier, peeking through the cattails to get this foggy shot of Sylvan Lake and its canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. I visited the same site the next day in the sunshine and discovered that the far side of the lake was surrounded by the signature Black hills rock formations.
Into The Fog won first place in the Fine Art America contest "D is for Dock" sponsored by the ABC Group on 12/8/19.
Into The Fog received an Artistic Achievement award in the Louisville, (Colorado) Arts Association's 2020 Virtual Spring Member Show.
