Description
After a long day exploring the mountains around Crested Butte, Colorado we were tired and headed for our hotel. Unbeknownst to us, there was one more picture that demanded our attention. It was nearly dark, driving along Colorado state highway 734, when we came upon the beautiful Nicholson Lake. It was so still, quiet, serene! We sat there in awe for a few minutes until the sun had fallen too far behind the mountain peaks to provide adequate light for our visual pleasure, then drove home in silence.
