Description
This is the Colorado mountain town of Georgetown as seen from Guanella Pass. It sits between Denver and many ski towns like Loveland, Vail, and Aspen, along Interstate 70. The town is probably best known for the Georgetown Loop Narrow-Gauge Railway that delights tourists and locals as it winds through the killer-gorgeous scenery. Another popular attraction for the sweet-lovers in your group is the Georgetown Valley Candy store where they make the most amazing caramel corn, along with many flavors of chocolates, fudge and ice cream. In the distance in this photo you can see Georgetown Lake - a popular ice-sailing spot in the winter. This is the vertical version of the horizontal image that precedes this on on this page of my gallery.
