It was foggy and raining most all day and was nearly nightfall when we arrived at Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I walked out on the pier and discovered this gentleman taking his spot on the water's edge to cast his line to do some fishing. I could barely make out the shapes at the far end of the lake, but visited the same site the next day in the sunshine and discovered that the lake was surrounded by the signature Black hills rock formations.
