Description
I ran across this pink wildflower photo I had taken a couple years ago and decided to include it in this collection. I am afraid I have since forgotten where I took the shot, but it is somewhere in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I have been researching to find the official name for this flower but the closest I have come is Fireweed and some form of Paintbrush. I have just been informed and confirmed that the plant is a cleome, also known as a spider flower.
