Description
While visiting Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, we visited the gorgeous Brookgreen Gardens, which includes botanical gardens, American sculpture, Low Country history, and a Low Country zoo. They offer tours, programs, and exhibits for all ages.
We hit azalea season just right, because they were absolutely splendid all over town, and especially in this park! We don't have these in Colorado, so this was quite a feast for our eyes! This photograph shows one of many ponds on the thousands of acres of land, which also includes narrated boat tours and a former plantation manned by African slaves.

The bright azaleas sure make a pop of color in the center! Very eye-catching!

Thank you Kathy! The brilliance of these flowers everywhere we went was mind-blowing to me!
