Description
I picked the right time of year to visit the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. This photograph was taken near Robbinsville, NC and turned into a digital painting using Topaz software. In Colorado we have our beautiful aspen, but they are all yellow. Being in North Carolina in October was a real treat!

Lovely colors and scenery, Lorrie! Wish I had more time to drive up into the mountains, and that the times I have available to do it would coincide with the best leaf viewing times! I've been disappointed with the last 2 years of autumn colors.

Thanks very much Kathy! It's tricky to get it just right even if you live there.
